Lora Schwacke is a natural professional and individual with the drive to succeed no matter the endeavor she chooses to undertake. She has a natural ability to teach people important materials that can benefit them later in life, which is why she has pursued a career as a professional educator. She currently works for the Waldwick Board of Education as a substitute teacher, and has been since 2010. She is also an expert in the field of natural child birthing, particularly in the realm of the Bradley Method, through which she is an instructor. She enjoys being able to help others during important times in her life, and she feels a great deal of satisfaction from her multiple teaching jobs.

 

However, Lora Schwacke didn’t start out as a professional educator; she began her professional career in the competitive world of accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant, although she hasn’t been active since retiring in 2004, and was able to pass her test and certifications with flying colors. She has experience in all aspects of the industry, including working for both private and public organizations. Her responsibilities included office administration duties, creating financial projections based on current numbers, assisting in investment opportunities, managing payroll, and a number of other duties as well.

 

Working as a Certified Public Accountant prepared her for a career within the teaching world. As an accountant, she was expected to stay organized, manage other members of her accounting auditing teams, and at some instances, even teach employees new tricks to the trade to help them perform their own duties more adequately. Although the environment and subject matter has changed a great deal, she is still expected to teach others in order to prepare them for the future, to stay organized through out her teaching jobs in order to inform the full-time staff what has been happening in their absence, and manage her students so that they keep up to date with their school work.

 

Although Lora Schwacke is only a substitute teacher, she thoroughly enjoys partaking in the responsibility of education future leaders of the world. Teachers have great deal of responsibility that often gets taken for granted by students and parents; they are charged with preparing people for the rest of their lives. She believes that she can make a difference in her students’ lives even as a part-time teacher, and when a student receives a good grade on a paper, quiz, or exam, she is ecstatic to she their hard work pay off.
